Our group came into existence during 1950 and, its first Industry Was set up by Late Sri Nawrang Lal Gadhyan and Late Sri Mahabir Prasad Gadhyan at Chirkunda in Dhanbad district of Jharkhand. it is around 250Km. from Kolkata, one of India's busiest Metropolitan Cities and seaports.
Arun Refractories the flagship Company of the Arun Group was incorporated in 1960 with a focus to meet the requirement of quality Refractories for core industries in India.
Today Arun group has created a wide network in manufacturing & marketing of Refractory, Coke, Washed Coal, Tundish Board, and Ultramarine Pigments.

The group is led by its Chairman Shri Sushil Kumar Gadhyan with a group of five companies with a gross turn of Rs. 140 million our chairman is ably supported by Shri Sunil Kumar Gadhyan and Shri Anil Kumar Gadhyan.

The promoters of this group have established a college "Shree Ram Hardwari Mull Sramik Mahavidyalay with graduation and post-graduation courses under Vinoba Bhave University".
